Warren & Sanders owned the night. And the most interesting thing about it was that the two of them were unabashedly liberal while the other eight were moderate, and liberalism owned the night. The please from the moderates were overwhelmed b the power duo.
Among the eight Delaney had a good night relatively speaking because he got to be the spokesperson for moderation. He wasn't successful selling it, but he got to be the break out spokesperson for it.
Williamson stood out in her own unique way, occasionally saying something insightful. But also making it clear she has no business being on that stage.
Buttigieg did fine and showed why he's come as far as he has. But the Democratic party is not going to nominate the mayor of South Bend.
And O'Rourke continues to amaze me - why does he have support? Granted "not Ted Cruz" is a pretty compelling platform - but only when you're running against Ted Cruz. In this race he's such an empty suit.
So... this debate showed the clear two that should continue in the race - Warren & Sanders.
