We needed some electrical work done at our house and after Precision Electric charged us over $500.00 to replace 5 outlets, I decided to try someone else. We had a problem with our lights and a smoke detector. Well they spent over 2 hours checking how the lights are wired, driving to Home Depot to get a new smoke detector, etc. And when it was done, the charge for the two of them - $25.00 labor.
When I asked why so little, they said it was because the only end result was a new smoke detector installed (they are coming back with special light switches in a couple of weeks). And they were only going to charge me for results accomplished.
