I took down the google ads on the blog here. Why? I first put them up about a year ago because one of my daughters was convinced that I would make a lot of money from them. And after 2 months - my account had $2.49.
I was about to remove them when I realized a couple of people in Boulder got really upset that I have ads on my site. So I left them up just to annoy those that think everyone should approach life in the manner they see fit.
But it's ability to annoy appears to have run its course. So I pulled them today. As to how much I made, Google won't cut a check until you hit $25.00 so I've never received a penny of ad revenue. I guess this isn't going to make me rich :)
