For those considering Crystal Gray, please remember this, and this, and this, and this. And I say this as someone who publicly endorsed Crystal.
Our mayor is a role model and an example for the city. Someone who resigned under major ethical questions and never provided any real answer to those allegations does not come even close to the minimum we should require of our elected officials.
It's bad enough that she's on the City Council as it sets a now low for what we find tolerable. But to then select her as mayor - how do we then with a straight face require any full-time city employee to put in over 20 hours a week. Because they too can be "working" while shopping and getting their hair done.
