Both candidates made it clear that they want an open debate not run by anyone. Sounds good to me.
So how do we get them to do one here in Denver? It seems to me that the way to pull this off is to offer something like Folsum Field, fully staffed and paid for - but with an empty stage to be presented and run however the campaigns want.
The question is, how do we pull this off? Where do we get the money to cover the costs? And where do we get the right set of Dem & Repub big-shots to extend the invitation?
