Keith Olbermann had one of the most beautifully spoken commentaries I have every heard - about Donald Rumsfeld's recent speech. You can see it here on YouTube. Every word is true and point on. As Lincoln said (paraphrasing), the only power that can ever defeat us - is us.
Rumsfeld is now trying to cover up his incompetence by casting aspersions on those who call out his mistakes. I both hope and believe that this will not work. This country will survive people like this. It has before, and it will have to in the future. But this will pass. And Rumsfeld (and the Bush administration) are in their final spiral downward.
